Announcing Our Community Service Award The Hopewell Valley League of Women Voters Community Service Award, established in 1985, recognizes a public or private high school senior who lives in Hopewell Valley. The candidate should be an individual who has demonstrated commitment to school, church, or community through active volunteer work and shows promise of continuing involvement. Students have been recognized for diverse community activities and services that include teaching and serving in their church; heading up local efforts for national or local charities; providing leadership for school and community organizations and initiatives; pursuing Scouting projects; serving with local fire and rescue squads, or similar community-oriented projects. Our thanks to all the organizations encouraging the youth of our community to serve now and in the future. Please be sure to bring to our attention the names and qualifications of other young people for consideration in the coming years. Nomination forms are available each year on this website and will be sent to local organizations (January). If you would like to be on the mailing list for nomination forms, please contact us through this website.
