Community Service Award - 2008 |

We are pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the Hopewell Valley League of Women Voters Community Service Award 2008. This award was established in 1985 to recognize a public or private high school senior who resides in Hopewell Valley. The candidate should be an individual who has demonstrated commitment to school, church, or community through active volunteer work and shows promise of continuing involvement. Students have been recognized for diverse community activities and services which include teaching and serving in their church; heading up local efforts for national or local charities; providing leadership for school and community organizations and initiatives; pursuing community-oriented Scouting projects; serving with local fire and rescue squads, or similar good works. |
